Uzbekistan's FM Meets with EU Special Representative for Central Asia

"A pleasure to meet with the EU Special Representative for Central Asia H.E. Terhi Hakala and her team. Covered Uzbekistan-EU cooperation, as well as regional and global agenda. Today, Central Asia is getting more connected, working together towards common prosperity, increasing its attractiveness for foreign partners. We welcome the European partners to support our collective efforts in building strong global bridges," the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan wrote on his Telegram channel.

It is worth noting that May 18 marked the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Republic of Uzbekistan and the European Union. It was also announced that the first official EU-Central Asia summit will be held in Samarkand.
