Uzbekistan's Presidential Administration Concludes the Year with a Meeting with Youth

At the year’s end, the Presidential Administration of Uzbekistan held a meeting with the country’s talented and dedicated youth. This event was organized to highlight the importance of young people and acknowledge their achievements. In her speech, Saida Mirziyoyeva emphasized the successes of the younger generation and highlighted efforts aimed at strengthening their hopes and confidence for the future.

During the 2023/24 academic year, Uzbekistan’s school students achieved unprecedented results in international Olympiads. Over the year, they won a total of 128 medals, including:

15 gold medals;

36 silver medals;

77 bronze medals.

These achievements were primarily in the exact sciences, such as chemistry, mathematics, physics, and informatics, showcasing the exceptional talent of Uzbekistan’s students in these fields. This accomplishment was a historic milestone not only for the students themselves but also for the nation as a whole.

During the meeting, Saida Mirziyoyeva addressed the youth with the following congratulatory message: “I sincerely congratulate our young heroes. I also extend my gratitude to teachers and parents for their trust and support. May this success mark the beginning of a great journey filled with victories. The future of Uzbekistan is in the hands of our youth!”

Today, the knowledge and talent of the younger generation play a crucial role in the strategic development of the country and in strengthening its position on the global stage. Therefore, attention to and care for young people remain one of the top priorities of state policy.
