Uzbeks urged to observe enhanced security measures in Russia

In connection with the terrorist attack that took place in the Moscow region of the Russian Federation on 22 March, security measures are being strengthened throughout the country. This was stated in the press service of the Agency for External Labour Migration of Uzbekistan.

The agency asks citizens of Uzbekistan travelling to Russia, staying on the territory of this country or leaving it to observe the following security measures:

carry documents proving identity and the right to stay or work in the country;
do not go to public places without a reason;
not to communicate with unknown and suspicious people;
do not store prohibited photos, audio and video materials on phones and other devices;
if travelling is planned, leave for the train station or airport before the scheduled time.
The message also advises Uzbek citizens to contact the country's consular offices or the representative office of the Agency for External Labour Migration in case of any problems or other issues of interest to them.
