In the Georgian capital of Tbilisi, another anti-government demonstration took place, with protesters blocking the central Rustaveli Avenue. Protesters, including actors, marched from the Vaso Abashidze Theater to the Rustaveli Theater under the slogan "Theater and Audience Against Tyranny." During these events, the police detained nine people for disobedience and hooliganism. The incident occurred near a restaurant where Georgian judges were holding a corporate event, and the protesters pelted them with eggs.

The protests have been ongoing for 48 days, starting on November 28 after Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze announced a freeze on Georgia's negotiations for European Union membership until 2028.

The protest in Tbilisi was accompanied by a strike involving more than 160 companies, including the PSP pharmacy chain and Fresco stores. Workers also protested against the ruling Georgian Dream party, arguing that its policies would lead to economic stagnation and increased poverty. The demonstrators received support from Georgia’s fifth president, Salome Zurabishvili.

After the strike ended, organizers called on people to gather at the parliament building on Rustaveli Avenue, where anti-government protests take place every evening.
