Azerbaijan celebrates Independence Day

The declaration of the ADR was a turning point that laid solid foundations for building an independent, secular, and democratic state. Despite its short existence (ADR existed until 1920), it affirmed the principles of equality for all citizens, regardless of their nationality and religion, and became a symbol of the Azerbaijani people's striving for freedom and sovereignty. Its ideas were revived with the acquisition of modern independence in 1991, when Azerbaijan once again embarked on the path of sovereign development.

Today, Azerbaijan is a dynamically developing state playing an important role in the region. For us, as close neighbors and partners, Azerbaijan is a country bound by strong bonds of friendship, mutually beneficial cooperation, and common historical roots. Our relations cover a wide range of spheres - from economics and energy to culture and education, which contributes to strengthening the stability and prosperity of the entire region.
