Uzbekistan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Bakhtiyor Saidov received Azerbaijan’s Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Samir Sharifov on August 19. The sides reviewed current bilateral issues and welcomed the results of the latest round of political consultations between the foreign ministries of the two countries.
The meeting highlighted the importance of active, friendly and trust-based dialogue between the presidents of Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan for the continued development of strategic partnership and allied relations between the two countries.
Saidov announced the meeting on his Telegram channel, noting that the sides held a detailed discussion of the current bilateral agenda.
