China has successfully launched a remote sensing satellite Tianhui-5. This was reported by the Chinese Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation.

It is reported that the device was launched from the spaceport Taiyuan in the north of China using a rocket CZ-6 at 06:50 local time.

It is noted that Tianhui-5 is mainly used in projects related to geographical calculations, land resource studies and scientific experiments.

The CZ-6 is a three-stage liquid-fueled rocket with a maximum diameter of 3.35m, a length of 29.2m and capable of launching a tonne of payload into a sun-synchronous orbit.
