Death toll in Japan earthquakes rises to 213

The death toll from a series of strong earthquakes in Japan's Noto Peninsula region on the Sea of Japan has risen to 213, authorities in Ishikawa Prefecture said.
Some 52 people are still missing and emergency services have been unable to contact them to confirm their whereabouts. The latest figures put the number of people affected at 567.
