Fergani Space successfully launched its first satellite on January 15, 2025. The satellite, named "FGN-100-d1," was sent into orbit using SpaceX’s Falcon 9 rocket from Vandenberg Space Force Base in California.

This launch marked a significant step in the advancement of Fergani Space and Turkey’s space industry. Founded in 2022, Fergani Space aims to send 120 satellites into space by 2030.

Currently, the company has built two satellites and is also working on developing orbital transport vehicles. The company is named after the famous astronomer from Uzbekistan, Fergani, which reflects its focus on scientific research and international collaboration.

The Fergani-100-d1 satellite weighs 102 kg and operates at an altitude of approximately 510 km, moving at a speed of 7.6 km per second. This satellite provides global positioning and communication services. The company’s goal is to create a global positioning system named Ulug' Bey, composed of 100 satellites, within the next five years.

Additionally, Fergani Space is actively working on the development of orbital transport vehicles. The company plays a key role in scientific and technological advancement, contributing not only to Turkey’s space capabilities but also to the broader Central Asian region and global space research.

Thus, the success and plans of Fergani Space could lay the groundwork for even larger space projects and collaborations in the future.
