Iranian State TV Broadcasts Video Detailing Barron Trump’s Movements

Iranian state television has aired a video focused on Barron Trump, the 20-year-old son of US President Donald Trump. The report claimed that his movements had allegedly been fully monitored and referred to a $10 million reward. Neither claim had been independently verified at the time of publication.
The roughly three-minute segment was broadcast on Iran’s Channel 3 and circulated by media linked to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps. It showed locations allegedly associated with Barron Trump, escort vehicles and elements of his US Secret Service protection. The title of the programme contained a direct threat against the president’s son.
The programme also claimed that Barron communicates privately through Xbox outside the reach of his security detail. That allegation has likewise not been independently verified. The broadcast provided no evidence that an actual attempt to reach Barron had taken place.
The broadcast follows a series of threatening reports by Iranian state and IRGC-linked media targeting members of the Trump family. A similar report in July focused on US First Lady Melania Trump and her movements in New York. Iranian media have also previously issued direct threats against Donald Trump.
The latest broadcast extends the public threat rhetoric from the US president himself to members of his family amid continued tensions between Washington and Tehran.
