Shavkat Mirziyoyev started new cooperation projects with Sadyr Japarov

The construction of two solar power plants with a total capacity of 400 megawatts has been started in Fergana and Namangan regions. A factory for the production of modern passenger cars and commercial equipment was launched in Chuy region.
After bilateral negotiations, President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and President of Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Japarov took part in the launching ceremony of major cooperation projects.
In particular, the construction of two solar power plants with a total capacity of 400 megawatts has been started in Fergana and Namangan regions. It is envisaged that the electricity produced at these stations will be delivered to Kyrgyzstan.
A factory for the production of modern passenger cars and commercial equipment was launched in Chuy region. In particular, Cobalt, Onix and Tracker cars and trucks are assembled there.
Also, the production of sewing and knitting products and fabric was launched in the city of Kara-Balta. Modern technological equipment was delivered to the enterprise and installed.
The Presidents of Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan expressed confidence that these projects will serve to expand mutually beneficial cooperation between our countries.
