The parties discussed current issues related to the further development and strengthening of Uzbek-Russian relations, a comprehensive strategic partnership, and alliance in the context of implementing high-level agreements.

The dynamic development of trade and economic cooperation was noted with satisfaction. Last year, trade turnover increased by 10 percent to $13 billion, and since the beginning of this year, it has increased by a further 32 percent.

The implementation of major cooperation projects in industry, energy, transport, and other priority sectors of the economy continues.

Particular attention was paid to advancing the construction of the first nuclear power plant in Uzbekistan.

The effective work of the joint Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation was highly commended.

It was noted that the parties are actively preparing for the next International Industrial Exhibition "INNOPROM." Central Asia" in Tashkent in April of this year, which became an effective platform for promoting new forms and projects of cooperation.

Views were exchanged on current international issues, including the situation in the Middle East, South Asia, and Ukraine.

The schedule of upcoming events was also discussed.
