The strength of the earthquake was recorded in Tashkent city, Fergana, Jizzakh, Samarkand, Syrdarya, Kashkadarya, Andijan, Namangan, Navoi regions (2 points). In Surkhandarya region its strength was 2-3 points.

An earthquake occurred in Afghanistan on 11 January at 14:20 Tashkent time. This was reported in the Republican Seismic Prognostic Monitoring Centre of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
