"We need to find parallel steps, parallel lines," Zelensky said in an interview with Fox News. "We have to find parallel steps, parallel rules. We can't stay where we are. We need to survive. This help is critical," Zelensky emphasised.

He also disagreed with the journalist's claim that the capture of Avdiivka by Russian forces opens a new phase of the conflict. "Last year was mostly complicated for us but… what been done, I think it was good job," he added, noting that Avdiivka was just one town.

Earlier, U.S. Vice President Kamala Harris said the administration has no Plan B for further support for Ukraine, but they will continue to work with lawmakers on the issue.
