The Prosecutor-General's Office of Ukraine has received the first evidence of possible use by Russian troops of missiles made in North Korea. This was announced by the Prosecutor General of Ukraine Andriy Kostin.

According to him, North Korean-made missiles were used, in particular, in the shelling of Kharkiv on 2 January.

"The results of preliminary scientific and technical examination confirm that the missile launched against central Kharkiv on Jan. 2 is a short-range missile produced in North Korea," Kostin said.

He added that a comprehensive expertise is now being conducted.

The US State Department announced the imposition of sanctions against three Russian legal entities and one individual involved in the transfer to Russia and testing of ballistic missiles from North Korea.
