Uzbek schoolchildren will receive a digital portfolio of achievements

The President of Uzbekistan has signed a decision to establish “Kelajak” (Future) centers, designed to provide students with new opportunities for personal development and meaningful extracurricular activities.

Uzbek schoolchildren will receive a digital portfolio of achievements
Based on 219 Barkamol Avlod schools, the “Yoshlar” sports society, the Student Youth Center, and the Uzbekistan Children’s Organization, national, regional, and district “Kelajak” centers will be launched.

These centers will cooperate closely with schools and offer clubs in engineering, science, culture, arts, reading, sports, and ecology.

Every school will introduce a consultant position to help students choose clubs according to their interests — from languages and engineering to creativity, arts, and sports. Deputy principals for educational work, together with class teachers and school psychologists, will provide support to children facing challenges in studies or family life.

Youth leaders in local communities (mahallas) will also be responsible for organizing students’ extracurricular time.

A key innovation will be the creation of a digital portfolio for every student, recording achievements in clubs, sports, volunteering, and Olympiads. These results will be reflected in their electronic certificate.
