Uzbekistan and UK deputy foreign ministers had talks on prospects for cooperation

It has been noted that in recent years relations between Uzbekistan and the UK have been actively strengthening and mutually beneficial partnership has been expanding.
Deputy Foreign Minister of Uzbekistan Muzaffar Madrakhimov met with Deputy Foreign Minister Leo Docherty yesterday. According to the Foreign Ministry, the sides discussed the current state and future directions of deepening dialogue between Uzbekistan and the UK in political, diplomatic, trade-economic, cultural-humanitarian and other areas. They also discussed the schedule of forthcoming joint events.
It was particularly stressed that economic diplomacy is recognised as one of the most important aspects of bilateral cooperation.
